Elaborate...

@double0 please explain?

what would that accomplish?

ironically, :gladbron: nor :mjpls: wore that shyt. well MJ did when with the wizards, but never with the bulls.
These players expecially Rose are restricting their natural muscle/ligament movements when making these high stress moves with their bodies. Thus not building up those parts of the body because they are being restricted by that combat gear if that makes sense. You never saw these kinds of injuries before all this armor started to be worn...

The D (where it's so cold)
He'll probably be Brandon Roy status when he returns.

I think that's why D Rose opted to have his meniscus stitched back to his knee and just go with the season ending rehab. Roy took the quick fix of having his meniscus cut out so he could return quicker which only cause a rapid decay of knee cartilage. Looking back it's crazy Roy did that he should have thought long term that decision basically ended his career.

From listening to the doctors on NBATV and ESPN there something weird that happens to the blood flow after a tear that causes it to no longer recieve blood at the same rate or something, maybe someone can clarify it more but D Rose will be B Roy status at some point just not as quickly as dude.

Damn, if Stern was still the commish for the draft, I would be confident in us getting Jabari Parker if we missed the playoffs

This is what happens when you have an unnecessary 82 game season. Players have absolutely no time to rest up and heal and they're forced to risk injury in meaningless exhibitions games.

And now one of the league's brightest and most marketable stars is in all likelihood finished. This is gonna be TWO of his prime years wasted now and god knows what kinda of player he's gonna be when he's ready to return. And not only that think of all the great basketball we've just been robbed of. One less team to compete in the east and stand in Miami's way.

I am in favor of a shortened season but :comeon:. nikkas been playing 82 games for 70 years breh. Some nikkas are just injury prone. He couldn't even stay on the floor during the 66 game lockout season.

MJ wore something on his knee or leg with the Bulls. Not all that stuff they wear now but definitely on the leg.

It was the same thing. 4 games in a week. Back to back road games. No time for rest. No time for healing. You have a sore ankle or a sore knee and it's back on the court in 24 hours. It got nothin to do with bein a bytch. These guys are only human. Of course they're injuries are going to be further aggravated.

At least tell me the guy was injured in an important game, clawing for a playoff spot. Or tell me he got hurt DURING the playoffs. At least then it would have been worth it. But don't tell me one of the best players of our generation just got his career cut short because of a meaningless game in November.
