i hope he makes a full recovery. he needs a young star on a 4 year rookie deal to play with though. bulls gotta get a top 5 pick

Yeah its not even about it sucking for the team anymore, I just feel for him now. Hopefully he can get his mind straight too, something was off with him this season anyhow.

He looked the same athletically this season as he has, but hes basically going to be two full years of being removed from basketball now. Im worried about that permanent rust now :lupe:
Honestly, what did sitting out 18 months the last time do for Rose besides mess up the beginning of this season for him?

Dude needs to come back gradually like Rubio and Shumpert did last season. If he's still on some, "I'm not playing til I'm 110% ready mentally and physically" after this then I don't know what to say. He could have worked the rust off last season and had that game speed back for the start of this season had he came back when he was supposed to.

The Bulls medical staff should be catching some heat on this too, why was Rose playing if his turf toe was acting up? He was probably overcompensating for that when he hurt his knee this time :smh:

I agree on returning gradually, dude can't sit back and wait until he feels 100% because that will do nothing but make him worry and wonder more... get the surgery done, get some rest, and get back at it gradually.... time waits for no man, and this situation is the perfect example...

Rose & his handlers playing this shyt too close to the vest. You gonna tell me this nicca didn't even want to wait to finish his rehab before declaring himself done for the season? This shyt is 100% mental at this point which is a very bad thing if you're a Rose & Bulls fan. Disappointing.

Hes done as an elite player at best he can reinvent himself into a solid role player but that explosion and first step and just overall athletic ability is what made him great without that hes ordinary
