of course not, but its crazy how folks are calling him a p*ssy for caring about his career

I don't understand how that's letting your team down? I'm all for playing if you're sore. I'm all for pushing yourself the extra mile when you're winded in a game. But I seriously, seriously, have a problem with the way ALL sports cultures handle injuries.
We call him a p*ssy because we can't think of another athlete who was cleared to play for months who refused to suit up like Rose.

i disagree with that.. explosion was derrick rose's game. yea he was getting a lil jumper but his ability to get to the rim made him who he was..without that he's gonna be mike conley with less trey ball
two things, you didnt understand my post and Mike Conley is an explosive player.

I said Rose can still be a superstar but he will have to pick and choose his explosive moments but I can still see dude being on that level of athleticism he had before.

he should still be explosive but mentally his game will change. People are confusing the two. He may be more athletic coming back but how will is overall game suffer, remains to be seen.

The biggest concern I see is the trend of his knees being damaged and even if he comes back from this tear, he could suspectibile to more damage in that right knee
yeah, my point was that he will pick and choose when to show his athleticism but he will have to add more to hsi game. I am confident he can. He didnt have a jumper and then added that to his repertoire.

his jumper....is under construction. I didn't expect him to become Stephen Curry in the off season but , kid is shooting under 40% and I believe like low 30% on jumpers.

I agree though, hopefully he doesn't end up being Baron DAvis II - cuz bulls paying him 18 and 20M in the next couple of seasons.

semantics now, but fair enough.

I think if you can get by someone at will, then you are explosive but we have different definitions.

His days as a superstar are done breh, the PG position is littered with talent and players producing at a very high level. He still hadn't recovered from the ACL tear, now he's supposed to come back and reach superstar level off a torn meniscus as well?

So far this season he just couldn't finish in the lane, which had always been his strong point over pretty much every PG not named Russ or Tony. Even being a half a step slower in the NBA is a huge difference, I thought he could come back to relatively the same level after the ACL tear, but I just can't see it now. He's got bad wheels and he'll never put full trust in them again.

the internet has become a breeding ground for crassness

as well as a large chunk of Chicago fans being clowns on this forum.

You actually feel Black people's reading comprehension skills suck? They need scaled SATs? Say it ain't so breh....

I thought that was a well known fact no? I was giving some of the black posters a pass on here due to this, so I try to dumb down my posts for them so that they can understand the points being made. Small words, short sentences and all that.

He's gonna have to relearn how to play a different way.

He should of did that after the acl tear. He was gone that entire time and didnt add any finesse to his game at all so honestly I'm not surprised this happened. I hope he recovers soon though.
