Sure it could be worse, but at the same time the fact his knees have become so fukked up over the last 2 years basically just puts a stop to his time as a superstar. A torn ACL in the left knee and a torn meniscus in the right, that is pretty bad moving forward for a player that relies on explosiveness and quickness.

I don't know how you get confidence back either, since he tore it on such an inconsequential play.

Mentally it's over for him brehs....damn shame

He's gonna have to relearn how to play a different way.

I disagree.

He can come back and be an explosive player. He will need to round out his game, but he can still be an MVP caliber player. He will have to pick and choose his spots to be that player.

If it was a back injury, then Id say thats all she wrote.

I mean Kobe had bad knees for years and still played at a high level despite the pain. I remember Baron Davis blew his knees out a couple of times before he entered the NBA.

i disagree with that.. explosion was derrick rose's game. yea he was getting a lil jumper but his ability to get to the rim made him who he was..without that he's gonna be mike conley with less trey ball

he should still be explosive but mentally his game will change. People are confusing the two. He may be more athletic coming back but how will is overall game suffer, remains to be seen.

The biggest concern I see is the trend of his knees being damaged and even if he comes back from this tear, he could suspectibile to more damage in that right knee

yea and he's getting up there in age now. it's going to be hard for him to be that superstar talented guy once again especially when it comes to confidence. no one deserves this basketball gods have failed us.
