Derrick Rose to Undergo Surgery for Torn Meniscus in Right Knee *Surgery Successful 4-6 Week Return*

I totally pin this on John Paxson and Gar Forman. The deepest team Rose ever played on was that team that loss to Miami in the ECF in 2011. When he got injured the first time they literally had a year and a half to improve that team and get as much help for him offensively, so that he would not have to carry them on that end every night. They loss Korver, Nate, and Deng in that matter of time. Rose came back to a team that obtained a poor mans Korver(Dunleavy) who was not as good. Those guys in the front office are not good at keeping or getting solid veterans who can score the ball. This is the first year where Rose had help offensively, but it was already too late because he was already damaged goods. I truly feel sorry for Thibs as well because they keep surrounding him with too many mediocre players. John Paxson and Forman need to be shown the door. GM's are payed to fine effective ways to make a ball club competitive, but those two have been sleeping on the job these past two years. Rose should have been eased back into lineup when he came back from the ACL injury in 2013 with better offensive personnel around him.

He was eased back into the lineup. The Bulls have someone that can trump Thibs about playing time. Thibs has a deep team now and is still insistent on playing people 40+ minutes a game. Jimmy Butler leads the league in minutes by far for example. He has no chill. We would have never known about Butler if Rip Hamilton hadn't got hurt nor Snell being halfway decent without Hinrich being hurt as well. Thibs drove Deng into the ground and Butler is his new Deng. Deng hasn't been anything since joining the Cavs and the Heat. Championships are won in June, not on a snowy January night against the Sixers. Someone needs to get the message to Thibs that there isn't a such thing as regular season championships. Banners aren't hung for that shyt.
