rose got hurt last year just from running down the court. no contact, no jumping, no cutting or anything.

It's the Accumulation of Stress he builds up, that hurt him self jogging down the court. I remember watching the Knicks game where he made the Game Winner over Chandler.

His game is so Violent + Mix in Thibs

I've seen it with Amar'e, there is a reason why Duncan can still play and be dominant.

Rose definitely got stocky...it's all muscle though. He might be changing his body to change his game and will rely more on power and strength to absorb contact than trying to jump over and around niccas. Totally different from Wade...Wade was LOSING muscle tone while gaining a flabby face. Rose looks cut as hell.

Derrick Rose will begin practice with USA Basketball on Monday, the first live competition for the 25-year-old since tearing the meniscus in his right knee in October.

And when he begins that tryout with the ultimate goal of being named to Team USA to compete in the 2014 FIBA World Cup at the end of August, he hopes it's the beginning of proving all his doubters wrong.

Rose's comments came at the unveiling of the adidas D Rose 5, the Bulls point guard's fifth signature shoe that will be released sometime in October.

Rose certainly has his detractors, as appearing in just 10 regular-season games since the end of the 2012 season. But now Rose is healthy and will compete for a roster spot in Las Vegas -- though, as Insider Aggrey Sam pointed out, he'll have steep competition -- before attempting to lead the Bulls back to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since his last healthy season, 2011.

Rose, who was accompanied by the newest star point guard of the adidas family, Damian Lillard, also had this to say during the event.

all this new technology when you're fukking up your knees with previous new technologies. if I'm D Rose, I tell them to build kicks like it was 1996. all that extra grip and bounce ruining his career. his kicks are ugly btw :gag: if I'm team adidas, I'm only rocking the crazy 8's. anything else is :camby:

His kicks are ugly but the contract he signed with Adidas is quite handsome.
