you make a great point. old man kareem said this is how he lasted so long in the nba. SLEEP. and STRETCHING. he said there is nothing better for healing your body then actual SLEEP. not rest. but SLEEP. when you go to SLEEP your body shuts down and it starts to fix anything thats broken. you're basically at the body shop for 8 hours. until you wake up. So the longer you sleep the more work can be done on you. lolI kind of wonder, is Derrick Rose getting enough sleep at night. If he's not letting his body recover with a 8 hour sleep, his body is going to be more susceptible to injury.
Fortunately, he was able to play over 30 minutes at 100% yesterday.
There are some teams that are taking stats on player sleep activity. To find out if they are getting enough sleep. I think the Dallas Mavs are one of them. Philadelphia Eagles is another one.Breh, I get fukked up by not sleeping more than 6 hours for Firefighting. And that's on an Air Base I couldn't imagine Derrick not getting 8 plus every night before a game. Or every night during the season.
