SO MANY INJURIES. SO MANY DAMN INJURIES. Dude was relegated to "role player" and coming off the bench, he's not even mentioned in the conversation when we talk about guards. Not because nobody respects D-Rose's game, it's because all of the damn injuries.
Silently homie has been regaining his strength and anybody even half paying attention noticed how well he started this season, really becoming a scoring threat, scoring over 20+ in games, dropping dimes, being super explosive. And it was clear that he thought "I'm back."

Nah - he lost YEARS to injuries. This is the first time in years we see him playing like himself.. We now see this as him "being on a tear" but this is just D-Rose. He was a generational level PG, a true scoring PG, probably the fastest first-step PG in the league who could pass, shoot, lay-up in traffic, dunk and take game winners.
Actually, this whole Jimmy Bumler.. I'm sorry.. Butler situation could play a huge advantage for D-Rose: so many shots Butler isn't taking and won't be taking, he can take them. The role of leader: he can take that spot. We know KAT is no leader.
