I'm counting on westbrook or durant to shoot you out of a few games against the spurs.:jawalrus:

Who else on the Thunder (except Harden) are gonna take shots? Lakers shot themselves in the foot by not feeding Bynum & Kobe out there shooting 25-30 shots a game. The Thunder know what they are, their Durant, Westbrook, & Harden being the offense with everybody else just chipping in. Lakers are Kobe doing whatever he wants & not playing to their advantage they had on the Thunder (feeding Bynum). But to be honest I don't hate the Spurs so if they won the series it wouldn't bother me, Thunder gonna be around for awhile. They ain't going to be in panic mode if they get beat by the Spurs like the Lakers are.

Beyond that even if you are a diehard Laker fan do you honestly think a team with Bynum, Josh Smith, & Artest sounds like a good idea?:what:

:snoop:

feeding Bynum isnt a 1 sided thing..he has to fight for position and not just sit there and let himself get fronted..he has to bring A1 effort every play down low...Shaq never had an issue gettin fronted...

That's on Bynum, Kobe, & Mike Brown. Brown needs to keep them focused on what they should be doing. Bynum is still immature as all hell & when he sees Kobe come down the floor shooting every other trip down, I'm sure he loses his drive to fight with guys all night when he won't get the ball as much as he thinks he should.

Shaq was a better player & had a coach (with a system) who Kobe would listen to instead of jacking shots up every other time down the floor.

All-Star point guard Deron Williams has made one decision about his free agency: If the Brooklyn Nets win the No. 1 pick in the NBA's draft lottery on Wednesday night – and the chance to secure Kentucky center Anthony Davis – it won't be enough for Williams to sign a contract extension, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.
"It's Dwight Howard or bust," said a league source who has spoken to Williams.

Williams doesn't want to stay with the Nets unless they become an instant Eastern Conference contender and wouldn't accept waiting for Davis' development. The Nets have a 7.5 percent chance of winning the lottery, and sources said the organization would be willing to part with Davis for the chance to pair Howard and Williams for the franchise's move into a new Brooklyn arena next season.
For the Nets to beat the odds and get the rights to draft Davis, they believe that they'll be able to hold onto forward Brook Lopez in a potential deal with Orlando. Howard regrets forgoing his early termination option on his 2012-13 contract, sources said, and wants a trade before next season. Nevertheless, the Nets become far less appealing should Williams leave in July as a free agent, so Howard's camp is applying pressure on Orlando to expedite a deal once it hires a new general manager.

Orlando ownership has softened on moving Howard and doesn't want to spend another season pleading with him to sign an extension. The organization's preference is to get the best possible trade package for him and start retooling the franchise. Nevertheless, the Magic will give a new GM some latitude to navigate Howard's future once he's hired. Several of the potential GM candidates in Orlando have already been devising trade scenarios for Howard and plan to propose those ideas to Orlando president Alex Martins in the interview process.
Unless the Nets get one of the top three picks in the lottery, the Portland Trail Blazers will own Brooklyn's 2012 choice. The Nets made a trade deadline deal for forward Gerald Wallace, whom they hoped would help convince Williams to stay as a free agent. Nevertheless, Williams has been largely unmoved by the potential free agent and trade scenarios that don't include Howard joining him in Brooklyn.

I still don't understand how Laker fans think they're going to get Williams if Brooklyn don't want Gasol & his garbage contract.

Exactly,The Nets do not want Gasol and 20 mil a year contract. They believe and probably will attract free agents in the future. The Lakers still have the trade exception they got for trading Odom. I think the best option is for them to get more athletic at Forward. Josh Smith is a good option and then see if you can move some players to free up room for Nash in free agency. Nash will not command something outrageous and wants to win now.

C- Bynum
F- World Peace
F- Smith
G- Bryant
G- Nash

This is probably the best and most financially feasible line-up for LA. This line-up does a lot for you as a team. It allows Nash to run the offense instead of having Kobe dominate the ball. This will free Kobe from his bad decision making issues he has with the ball. Josh Smith can slash, run, help defend, rebound and get open shots....should be great with Nash. Unless you have Avery Bradley, its a moot point to care about defense at the PG spot, nobody is stopping Dwill, CP3, Russ, and Parker. But if you can have good offensive PG play at that spot it will help against them. Mike Brown is not a great offensive mind but is a good defensive coach. He will be able to do some things with that line up.

Thank me later :smugdraper:
