I dunno man I have lived in the South, Mid Atlantic and Eastcoast and traveled extensively throughout my life.. Met plenty of Nascar good ole boys, confederate flag waving red necks...The two most vitriolic, hateful groups of racists I've met are Italians from Long Island and Irish guys from Boston..They could give any Alabama Klansman a run for their money..

To quote Cube.. Fukk a devil, fukk a rebel AND a yankee...
Because they are bring polite breh . ( not everyone is a racist in the south )Boston yes is notoriously racist as well but Long Island is mostly a rich suburb where white people(affluent) move to get away from minorities , which is why I laugh at them when they get stuck on the island in snow storms . Like said the south has a lot of subtle racism try dating some of these nice folks daughters and see how it goes breh also go look at some News sites reactions to Obamas election wins see all these people commenting using there fb and twitter accounts about niccas see how old they are and their locations ( there were actually a lot of young people commenting the same) NYC no one bats a eye at a person in power with tats and piercings , being gay or a minority and we all intermingle like crazy . So yeah we are very tolerant , a lot of it is we hate stupidity , and tourists a lot of the time don't know how to act when they come here it's like they forget this isn't Disney world it's a city where people are commuting and living their lives we don't want to be stopped cause your group of ten tourists all decided to pull out their maps in the middle of the street or take pictures . It's annoying

Edit : yeah i agree with you I misread your quote in a rush . NYC definitely still has issues when me a young black man in button up and slacks gets stopped by cops in my neighborhood as a robbery suspect . Nicca I had a messenger bag where I'm storing my stolen goods

Outside of the scenery, its nothing Utah has to offer that you cant get in Jersey...its places in Jers where there isnt any business or even a neighbor for miles if you want to live that secluded life...when you have his type of money life is what you make it
NY state and jersey have secluded areas I think a lot of people think of ny the city and not the state that's it

you mean a white family right?

Stories from people who relocated

Hello, I wanted to put my two cents in. We are a thirty-something African-American family with two young sons who relocated to SLC from Washington, DC (chocolate city). We couldn't have made a better decision for our family. The peace of mind concerning the friendly people, schools and neighborhoods has been unbeliveable. We wanted better for our children, yeah everyone here may not look like them and we are going to work extremely hard to ensure they are constantly aware of who there heritage, but we've lived in environments where the majority of the population is black and that comes with a lot of issues (housing, poor services, medicore/underfunded schools, crime) that at this stage in the game with kids, we'd much rather not deal with. Good Luck with your decision

One of the big pluses for us regarding SLC is the possibility of sending our boys to a good public school (we use private right now) and saving that money.

It is definitely reassuring to hear that it is working out so well for you.

If you're Black and non Mormon, I would say stay away, as far as dating goes......if you're Mormon, then you may have a shot of finding someone, but being black and non Mormon there, is a double whammy....
suprised you can't find anyone who happens to be black, in Denver though....

Yup..They straight disregard racism in their area when it's considered one of the most segregated areas in the country. :snoop: I don't take them seriously because their response to that, "bbutt iz a world class city" :skip:

:salute: city data is goat. Oh I wouldn't go out there without a wife and family in all honesty unless you are into white women. That goes for Denver as well. With a family though I'd be all in.

listen just because a city is clean and safe doesn't mean it's for everybody. when kids are young they dont care about race and stuff like that. but eventually kids grow up. they wanna know why they look different than everyone else. Or how about trying to find a black barber or hair salon? Now trust me, i know what its like to relocate and when you first move to a clean city with good public schools coming from the east coast. it's a breath of fresh air. but guess what, it wears off eventually.

A few Floors Down from the Daily Grind
Ill never blame a professional athlete from taking the most money he can get, regardless of how overpaid I think he is.......unless he could still be rich for the rest of his life and play somewhere he liked for slightly less.

My type of city

If you want your kids to be lame.

Have you ever been there? It's boring as hell and there's like 7 black people.

Salt Lake City also has a surprisingly small population and the city is so small you can walk from one end to the other in a few hours.

There's barely any night life there, either. Everybody is mormon, the women are mostly terrible.

Basically, I found nothing redeeming about Salt Lake City besides the scenery--it's pretty.

But maybe I'm biased cuz I'm from the big city.

Breh SLC isn't Wyoming. There's all black churches out there.

Breh I've found barbershops in Anchorage, AK..Cleanliness is next to godliness my dude. Those cities are clean for a reason and they are also safe. And I hate to say but with all these lost ass black folks from all black enclaves who have no idea about their history, culture and don't have an ounce of respect for themselves, maybe a change of scenery is good. And that's real talk. I've traveled too much and seen way to many well adjusted black folks in lily white places and straight up clowns in all black places.

that's so true and im from toronto where the perception is that everyone is friendly. ive been to NC a few times and people randomly asking how are you and if I asked directions they'd go on for like a good 15 mins, drawing pictures and going out of their way for a stranger. it was almost scary like what do they want from me lmao

:deadmanny:

breh i cant stop :laff:
