@wire28 I had to neg you off of gp breh. That was too disrespectful.

I have no problem with the hiring. Fisher is just going to be Jax's puppet, and whatever Jax wants, it'll get delivered via Fisher. And I can see a lot of you morons can't read. As far as the Kerr situation went, he pulled out at the last minute, so it wasn't that the Knicks didn't want to pay him. And again, Melo will be a Knick for the rest of his career. Like I said before, I highly doubt that Phil would've taken this job at this stage in his life just to rebuild. He got a plan and I trust him.

But in that same vein you want someone that's gonna challenge you when needed. Fisher is clearly hired as a proxy, while Phil does his Toulon/Geppetto role

At first, sure. But he has leadership experience on championship teams, was NBAPA prez and has enough years to not only manage personalities in the lockeroom but to command respect as a champion. I have no doubt he'll have full autonomy to get at a players neck if need be knowing he has the support from up top. Between the two player coaches Fish would def be my pick between he and Kerr. Hopefully everyone wins.

I think this is a way better move than the Steve Kerr attempt
