imagine luke walton trying to coach an up and coming player
:mjlol:
I can see Fisher being a good coach though he played with kobe n shaq then black mamba then russy n kd.
Get him 2 good players they could do damage.

This nikka D-Fish done lived a charmed life brehs:wow:

Has any other 6ft guard with such limited talent had as long and lucrative a career as Fish?

No elite speed, handles, or scoring ability.

No elite passing or play-making ability

No elite defense

No elite 3-Point shooting

$63 Million & 18 seasons in a league with the greatest athletes on the planet.:wow: D-Fish the gawd.
He's the Forrest Gump of the nba

Philly
Lotta dumb as fukk responses in this thread btw. Phil can't coach and hires someone who can be an extension of him and will ultimately have strong ties with management so there should always be a consistent message. That type of cohesion is key in any work environment and instead we got a bunch of :mjlol: knicks lost responses.

fukk even bein a Knick fan, this shyt is smart to do simply from a managerial standpoint. More teams should do that to build that type of chemistry if it's not already there. He'll start as a figurehead and eventually come into his own while having full support from higher up. Only good can come from that. Hopefully they'll build a roster that maximizes that type of synergy from up top.

But in that same vein you want someone that's gonna challenge you when needed. Fisher is clearly hired as a proxy, while Phil does his Toulon/Geppetto role

LOL what does that have to do with anything? The Lakers got swept because they were outplayed, outhustled, and burnt out.
the fans didnt seem to think that before the playoffs started tho :sas2:

and because hes being close minded af and trying to force his coaching philosophy on the knicks
