Young Thug is a better lyricist than Ras Kass
Young Thug is a better lyricist than Ras Kass, but Ras Kass is a better "rapper" in terms of kicking knowledge and shyt...
Kool Keith hybrid
whats funy about that? Lyrics are written with a defined goal. You fukking idiot CAC. I know my culture.
The true essence of MCing is to Move the Crowd, Ras Kass can rap, but his flow is off beat and he puts to many words in his shyt. Not saying simple equals better. But the MC originally is someone who can get on stage and elicit a positive response from a crowd... ie "Rock The Party" that is the origin.
If we hopped in a time machine to the 80's, back to the foundations of rap and we put a break beat on and put 2chainZ on stage with Ras Kass at a party who do you think the crowd would be feeling more? If Ras came out with that "Nature of Threat" shyt he would get booed of the fukking stage. Listen to a 2chainz verse... nikkas will say its wack. But what is he doing that Busy B wasnt doing? It's basic call and response with a little humor. He's saying shyt he know is gonna move the crowd and elicit a positive response in a club atmosphere.
nikkas kill me always talking about what emceeing is. But somebody like Baby rapping about how much money he has is just the offspring of the Sugar Hill Gang (Grandmaster Caz) writing about how much they had. Ya'll wordy rip rap nikkas the ones got it twisted and thats why most of them nikkas aint got no cake.
I got bodyguards, I got two big cars
That definitely ain't the wack
I got a Lincoln' continental and a sunroof Cadillac
So after school, I take a dip in the pool
Which really is on the wall
I got a color TV so I can see
The Knicks play basketball
Hear me talkin' 'bout checkbooks, credit cards
Ya say I'm gonna get a fly girl gonna get some spankin'
Drive off in a Def Oj
Everybody go hotel, motel Holiday Inn
Say if your girl starts actin' up, then you take her friend
Sound like the first rap song was about GETTING MONEY AND fukkING THESE bytchES TO ME...
So boring ass wordy rap like this, aint really AINT HIP HOP... to be honest. Since we gon talk about lyricism and the essence of the culture. Ross is 10x closer to the origins to the culture than this shyt. Sugar Hill for one was lying, for two they didnt even write they own lyrics. So you basically dissing Ross for keeping it realer than you.
Just my to pennies.
make long text, to further show you don't know anythign about the culture.
or the skills involved, to make a rap record.
or anything , that pertains to the progression of new school from old school way of thought.
which, from your content shows you don'tknow anythign about at all.
everything you have posted to me, in this thread is laughable at best.
no, you won't get props on your length, cause the longer you post.
no, you won't get props from me on this tongue in cheek attempt to diss me in length.
when, you don't know or have any real cultural basis or knowledge about hiphop, like that.
the longer your posts, show you don't know what you are talembout.

yeah man u sure showed me, on the internet where nobody can actually see or touch each other. wouldnt want any trouble with you man.
Shouldnt u be off writing some of your cutting edge, contemporary, surrealist brand of hip hop that the masses are clamoring for?
I know A&R's and fans are literally kicking down your door to get a slice of that marketable, new wave of music u producing over there.
Thanks for having mercy on me, peace... please no more trouble.
