The idea that we can't critique him unless we've personally "governed something" or "had lunch with a politician" is nonsense. By your logic, nobody can question anything unless they've lived the exact same life, which is stupid in an of itself. If what he's saying contain contradictions or oversimplifications, then it's fair game to point them out.
That doesn't mean we don't respect him as a legend, and that legend doesn't mean their opinions are sacred. For someone like that, it is easy to separate the person from the ideas and address the latter without any disrespecting the former.

This is the part of the engagement where you insult my intelligence rather than self reflect.
The reason people like you can’t admit it is because you put your entire being, your entire life in the hands of these politicians. You can’t admit that both parties play the game because to do so will mean that there’s no savior coming and these parties use the people like pawns in their Game of Presidents. You can’t admit it because to do so will force you to blow the doors off your mind and destroy the idea that the Democratic Party are the good guys and the Republican Party are the bad guys.
That would make sense if they didn't say this guy was Hitler and was attempting to become a dictator. If anything, they'd be restoring order and protecting democracy.
