I have never seen someone go from mid level exception to $100 million..In the NBA once you sign for some shyt like that that’s what you are for life

it's not that he can't... it's that some posters are just rooting for him not to. That said.. he's probably more on the 14-15 PPG side with this team.

This is a unique situation though. I can’t remember someone in his position turning down that bag then having a bad series. Barring injury, if he returns back to OKC form and demonstrates himself as a starter he’ll get the bag back. He’s still under 30.


He can never recoup the 79 mil he turned down from the Lakers. Can he get a big contract? Perhaps, but when a guy has been on 4 teams in 5 years he's kinda stuck in that journeyman role. He's probably gonna sign for short term contracts the rest of his career
