They really aren't as hard as ppl make em out to be for the most part. If you can recognize/remember patterns and you play games regularly you can beat it. Honestly it's more a matter of focus and patience than raw skill. But don't buy it going in with a defeatist mindset

Patience and smart build design makes the game go from "What the fukk am I doing" to "I'm that nikka"

It's one of the few games I really suggest you watch a video by like an Epicnamebro or other souls gurus to make sure you go in prepared if you worried about having a good time. Otherwise the community is actually really encouraging outside of telling you to get gud.

I started with bloodborne and I’m not sure if that was a good thing or not. Lol

Bloodborne has zero hand holding. The beginning was terrifying for me, until i understood shortcuts, lamps as save points, leveling up, and just not having to fight everything you see. I was in the beginning of that game for hours scratching my head wondering wtf people played this shyt, while trying to clear out the town square lol

But it made dark souls easier for me.

BB is kind of fast. You may want to check Dark Souls for 2 for the similar atmospher or 1 for the similar style.

Demon's Souls is probably a lot more player friendly if only because of the hub system that makes it clear where you go next after you beat a level lol.
