The only thing I'm worried about is FromSoftware seemingly doesn't have anything to do with this?

It was advertised as a collaboration between BluePoint and Japan Studio. Bluepoint did a great job with SOTC but Souls has very specific feel and weight that may be hard to pull off given this is a full on remake. Need to see the game actually in action rather than just cutscenes to judge

How do you feel about old school NES games where if you die, you start way back and have to kill everything over again? You cant rush your way through either, gotta move at a slower pace and watch all your surroundings because you might get shot in the back with an arrow and fall off an edge after fighting for 45 minutes to make it to the next checkpoint, only to lose all your souls (xp to level up). You can pick them back up if you make it back that far, but you will probably die again before that and lose all your xp and progress and now you've wasted an hour and a half for no reason.

That said, when you master it, there ain't no better feeling :whew:

:ohhh:been a minute since Ive played , but I do remember the game had a "World Tendency"...

:jbhmm:like , ur actionz effected the world itself ... if the world wuz "light" enemies were "normal" ...

:ufdup:but if u die multiple times the world would turn "dark" and enemies were tougher and u would encounter "dark spiritz"
