Trump is much more than a “symbolic victory” for whites. Trump represents a power move for white supremacy. Not only is Trump going to permanently swing the Supreme Court to the right, he is remaking the entire judiciary of this country. I think that trump has set a record for the amount of federal judges that he’s appointed in such a short amount of time. I guarantee that not one of you have done any knowledge on who these judges are. Trump and his administration is doing a lot of shyt on the low to ensure/strengthen systematic white supremacy.
You talk about the clintons and the crime bills of the 90s, but you don’t acknowledge that blacks called her out on that and forced her to run against those 90s crime bills and vow to work on reforming he justice system during he campaign. Trump did no such thing. In fact, trump ran on doubling down on those “law and order” tactics, vowing to empower the police and scrap any thought of justice system reform. Trump just gave a speech vowing to ramp up the war on drugs going so far as to advocate the death penalty for street drug dealers. As soon as session took his position as AG he instructed his prosecutors to go as hard as they can against “criminals”.
At least blacks would’ve had some leverage with a president Clinton to hold her to her campaign promises due to blacks making up such a big part of her base. As it is right now, blacks have no leverage with trump because we aren’t the ones who put him office. The white supremacists have all the leverage with trump because they’re the ones who put him office. You can fully expect him to continue following through on his racist platform and there’s really nothing blacks can do about it. At least blacks could leverage Clinton by threatening to withdraw support that she would definitely need in a re-election bid. Now the militant overt white supremacists has that leverage with the president.

I think he was a tomato can for Hilary to run through, but the powers that be read the tea leaves and knew they couldn't afford another establishment politician, so they called an audible and made Trump that outsider.

It's not black and white at all. It's rich vs poor. Politicians stay in power by dividing us and fear mongering. The same 10% of white people who owned slaves are the same people running the multinational corporations, the same people funding the propaganda on both sides. "Those savage young blacks, Mexicans, and Muslims will murder you and rape our women , vote for me" and "bob from Montana is stopping you from achieving happiness, even though we've been in charge of your schools and cities for 50 years, you just need to give us more power."
Look at the alt right, this was young white men who were starting to figure out the game so they trotted Richard Spencer out to masquerade as a leader of the movement. The same Richard Spencer from a wealthy family with a trust fund. Even though none of the white people I know actually listen to him. They listen to Steven Crowder, Ben shapiro, sargonof akkad and people like that.
Look at black lives matter, these were young black men who figured out the game and were ready to go at police corruption, whigh would put them on a head on collision with the largely democratic leadership class present in most major inner cities. So they trotted out Deray as a leader of the movement. The same Deray with his own political and fame seeking motives. Even though most black men I know don't listen to him. They rock with Tariq, Boyce, Yvette, and others.
We can't expect black women to join, because their insecurity towards white and lighter skinned people is through the roof, but I think it would be beneficial for young working class black men and white men to get together, hash out our differences, get the bankers out of the paint, then agree to go out separate ways.
