It really feels inevitable that Smith is going to stealth campaign for the next 3 years. Put in his name in the last second and win it all.
DNC got a lot of young talent to take the nomination in 4 years, but none of them are trying to build a platform.

Democrats in general need to strategize quietly and put the press on once spring hits. I don’t think Jeffries is a good leader but he’s the one that’s there right now. All that matters is placing resources where they need to be for 2026.

I'm deeply disappointed with the dems. If Harris wants to be president in 4 years, she should be holding rallies now. Where are the big tent rallies with the dems? The country is looking for an opposition leader. There need to be mass rallies to mobilize support and opposition. If the dems were in power and doing all of this, Trump would be holding rallies every other day. The repubs are just better at this. Dems have given up. We need a leader now. Trump already have negative polling and losers in here talking dems shouldn't frame anything. This why republicans continue to win elections, power or not they're framing the narrative. They don't wait for polls, consultants, they don't wait for power , they personally frame the narrative. Most of the things that have negative approval now had POSTIVE approval due to republican framing when they didn't have power
