Back to what I was saying republicans won by less than dems did in 2020 and have framed the parties objectives as a "voters mandate". Republicans talking about 4 trillion dollars in tax cuts that help corporations while Joe manchin was crying over less than a trillion between multiple programs that actually help the people
. This is why the dems keep losing they don't do what their constitutes actually want.

Blame the voters all you want but if Dems want to re-engergize their base they need to at least give the appearence of strength and get their messaging correct. Optics matter. How Dems don't realize this by now is beyond me. Given all the open and brazen corruption of this presidency it shouldn't be that difficult.
Jeffries is very intelligent but he isn't the man for this moment. He has 0 charisma and isn't giving the American people the impression that he's approaching this moment with the level of urgency it demands. America in 2025 responds to vibes not logic and facts. Half the country has ADHD and is illiterate. Dems have to adapt their messaging style with the times were living in.
Ask youself what would Republicans be doing if they were in this position? Would they be blaming voters? Would they put on a whiny and mild mannered press conference about how they have no leverage? Would they be begging Democrats for bipartisanship? By doing these things they're giving this adminstration legitimacy. Dems need to obstruct Republicans at every step and set the narrative that this a hostile takeover by wealthy robber barons.
