I'm turning this on right now is this episode really that bad with the wife and daughter?
Dios Mio
They could have made the daughter way more interesting in a "Traffic" sort of way. Remember she had that drug problem and her subplot was really well-done?
Just watched.
This is a disgrace.
How do you have Jon Hamm and Demi Moore (who in the right material is stellar) and you focus on the poor man's Thelma and Louise? Hamm is stealing the show in every scene he's in.
This is a really good show that is having its very good plot being derailed by a really stupid subplot of the wife and her daughter. Your wife and daughter are easy. We get it. Damn move on. Even the plot with the son and the widow is more compelling.
This is like mini porn with these 2. And it would have been different if there was like just like 10 minutes in one episode about it- it's total overkill at this point.
A drama about the oil industry is a riveting tail to tell and can make for captivating stories. They can dive into Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, cargo ships containers, crews on the Gulf of Mexico. On some S2 of "The Wire" shyt.
We need more of Demi Moore and Jon Hamm and the corporate/legal side. This is ridiculous. More on the drug trafficking and the illicit activities that go along. WTF is this bullshyt
