you know what.. this is how i look at this.. many many a time people have stepped up short notice and not backed down.. you claim to be a champion but cant fight anyone on any given night? really? what part of being a champion is that? so sonnen who i think would get obliterated by jones is too much of a challenge? Dan and Sonnen are entirely similar , it's not like training for a BJJ master and then getting a wrestler. Jones looks really really bad due to refusing to fight Sonnen, did sonnen deserve a title shot? no, but dana asked shogun and machida first and they aren't stupid, they know they need more time to prepare for jones
my take is.. that's your job. you should do your job, jones comes off looking like a p*ssy whether that's the case or not

who i feel sorry for is all the people who dont have the kind of money some of these people have and went to the venue, and paid for tickets and hotel rooms and all of that, and now dont get a fight and probably cant even get refunds.

UFC has awful matchmaking. You have certain people who get instant rematches after losing and then you have stuff like this situation. Chael just lost and he's already deserving of a title shot in another weight class? Itif Dana likes you, you pretty much get skipped way up in line and instead of having some sort of logical progression to putting together fights, they put together fights as if this was the WWE..

Jon Jones spend 8 weeks preparing for his opponent Dan Henderson.

The Last week of training camp is weight cutting.

His coaches are overseas right now, cornering other fighters in another organization.

He would essentially only have 3 days to prepare for Chael Sonnen, who's a bum, but anything can happen in MMA.

Jon Jones get's blamed for cancelling 151, even though he's just a fighter.

Dan Henderson goes scotch free although this could of been avoided weeks ago if he would of informed the UFC and Dana White.

Fans of Shogun, Machida, Rampage and racists worldwide are because they can finally claim some sort of victory after Jon had them the last few years.

I watch most of the UFC fights but this is embarrassing. I didnt even bring up them not offering qualified contenders in the 205 division.(I know they offered Rua and Machida, but they are more light heavyweights that are qualified than Chael Sonnen and Vitor Belfort)

One thing I will say is, I feel sorry for Vitor

The temporary happyness Jones haters are having right now will quickly go back to and they'll just have to keep wishing he moves up to fight JDS, who I think Jones would beat.

nikkas on Sherdog really think he's afraid of Chael Didn't' think ppl could get that dumb but it even gets worse. Writing letter to Nike to drop him, asking for the UFC to release him, strip him...I couldn't make this thing up.

Jones is now getting hated like Lebron after he lost to the Mavs and Money May after Pacman negotiations.....Real good company though.

I only hope Jon retires at 27/28 undefeated and tells Dana White
