what does that mean? actions have consequences? they know that. the kids will have a record. they will do some jail time. but how far are you trying to go? you put them in jail for a silly girl high school fight for 20 years and guess what. you may as well kill them too. they will never have a real job if at all. they will probably come out and end up homeless at some point since they wont be able to hold a real job with said record. especially for what it woudl be for (killing someone). So unless you're trying to give them the death penalty on some eye for an eye. then we need to back up off the extra punishment. it was involuntary manslaughter. no one tried to kill anyone. they were fighting the girl. no they shouldnt have jumped her. but one person vs one person could still end this way. you're fighting in a bathroom where i can be slippery and their are sinks around.

It's going to go as far as the state deems necessary.

Living off that kind of mercy doesn't bode well.

You don't know if there was no fatal blow or not. Some reports say her head was slammed into the sink. The courts will decide what's true.

These kids are teenagers who fully understand murder.

It doesn't matter if their didnt don't understand consequences because their parents didn't teach them about consequences of actions. They are fully capable of understanding consequences. Science has never disproven this as fact. The law will teach them this reality.

They only thing that will save some of these girls will be expensive lawyers who can argue all the nonsense you're spouting.

I enjoy this discussion we've had, but you really need to look at juvenile law. Like research different cases, not just the ones that make the news. Kids kill kids all the time. Nothing new. This has manslaughter ALL OVER IT. No matter how bad this is, no judge sends every kid to prison. They have to re up on their seat every few years, a judge being hard on kids isn't a good look.
They will be out by 18 I guarantee that. At worst, juve until 18 and then prison until 21. But they are not getting all this time people keep talking about.

wait a second. did they BANG her head against the sink? if so then they killed her. did they bash her head in with a rock, pole, bat, etc? if so then they killed her. Did they slam her head against ground yelling "i'm going to kill you..." if the answer is no to these questions then they didnt )INTENTIONALLY KILL ANYONE. its about intent. it was an accident. girls fight at school all the time. they end up with scrapes, torn shirts, and some weaves/hair pulled out. they come back to school a few days later after the suspensions are up. they go on to graduate high school and laugh about how they had that big fight in school. ask me if i threw hands in school before. the answer is yes. ask me if i have gave someone a nice shot in the chest? yep. but you dont remember that deal when that kid punched his classmate in the chest. and the kid died. pure fluke. was he trying to kill him? hell no. so why throw the book at a kid for a run of the mill school fight that went all the way wrong by no intent of those fighting. you can't get her back by putting down a harder punishment. it wont stop or slow school fights(stats show harder punishment does not scare people away from those crimes. unless you're ready to say all fights are worth 5 years in jail minimum. which i know you're not. what if you get into a scrap in a bar. someone slips bangs their head on the back of a chair. whooops. they die or get brain damage. they can't tell who started the fight based on the witness cause you have your people and dude had his there. should you go to jail for life? of course not. you didnt try to kill anyone. its INTENT

if you didnt try to kill someone and we know fights on average dont kill people. then you shouldnt get treated like a murderer who tried to kill someone. its simple 2+2. i dont care about the girls involved. i'm just stating the facts. facts are there was ZERO intent to kill herUnless someone has footage of them intentionally banging her head against that sink. then we're talking about something else.

you do realize there are laws against stomping someone's head out even in a fight you didnt start. that because that kind of head trauma CAN cause death/brain damage.

is that what they did? if the answer is no. then its an accident.

truth is there have been a many of stomp out that was not done to kill someone. it was done to keep the person from getting up right away trying to continue fighting the other person. and the person that got stomped out got up in a few moments, dusted themselves off and that was that.

so again. where's the intent to kill? prove that then you have a case to go all the way. if you cant prove that its involuntary manslaughter of some sort. these girls probably have no priors. so they may not get any jail time. just 5 to 8 years probation and a wack record that will still turn them into possible thugs/drug addicts since they wont be able to get steady legal jobs that pay anything with that kind of record. remember they are not white. if they were they could clean themselves up. go to college and turn out successful. the odds of that happening with these black girls(or ricans, which ever they are) is slim especially once they get this record...jail time or no jail time. their lives are a wrap most likely. thats what yall dont get.
