So if a 15-16 year old kid brutally murdered a loved one of yours, you would be ok with "weekend labor"? Thats what you're saying right? Im just asking a yes or no question
Obviously not some summer camp. Let's be real. Bruh, I'm not saying these aren't demons, but we all know the prison system, shyt don't make them better. Might be time to brainstorm some new solutions. Got people and family all up and down the system. They always tell me the worst thing they face is kids that get a little time. They're doomed then and become even bigger monsters.

In this incidence it doesn't matter if they're kids.

They're going to pay big time for their actions.

That's life.
These are kids. They gonna get locked until 18 and on probation. This wasn't some 1st or second degree. They not gonna get that much times being kids. That's life. L

No you're minimizing this.

They are going to prison and there's not turning back from it.

You might want them to be treated with kid gloves but this won't be their fate.

It's delusional to think otherwise.

my guy. I'm not saying treat them with kid gloves, but they're kids. People in here talking about life and what not. These kids are going to get out at 18. Not exactly what i want but it's going to
Happen. It's extreme 1st or 2nd degree offenses that trigger adult Sentences. Any attorney out of college can call for manslaugther and get them out by their 18th.

This thing happens ALL the time. Maybe not in a school like this instance but it happens a lot. I don't have a percentage, but I can bank on 90% of child felony charges are not treated as
Adult charges, and I bet a lot are expunged after years.

It's very hard to charge a child as an adult

No, not all these kids are going to juvenile.

Murder will mean someone is going to get tried as an adult. Whoever threw that fatal blow.

In Delaware there is no minimum age for transfer to adult court from juvenile.

Some of these girls are going to get tried as adults.

People have got to stop being naive about how the justice system works.

It's not a system of fair. It's also not a system of compassion.

These chicks, with all the video evidence .. . it's not looking good at all.

thats in the heat of the fight. most people mid fight aint stopping. thats just reality. and things like this do and can happen. even if it was 1 on 1.the person you swing on could slip and bam hit their head wrong. yall keep fighting or you trying to keep them down to end it. and next thing you know they're dead. you didnt try to kill anyone. thats why its manslaughter at best. now there are times when people intentionally try to beat people to death. with the intent of killing the person. i dont think thats what this is.

hmm they deserve whatever they get, Hard lesson of life especially when your black

no they dont. they are still kids.
i've been in a many of scrap when i was a kid. no i never had my people jump anybody. but i've been jumped and survived. yes i hate bullies. and can't stand people who jump people. i think thats a coward act. BUT with that said. i still know non of those fights were with the intent to kill me. so if by chance i would've died by some fluke accident. then those kids should not be charged as if they TRIED to kill me. just because something horrible happens doesnt mean you will write that wrong by going overboard. and thats what it is. sorry you dont tell kids "oh well life lesson." there is no lesson if my entire life is gone." and no it doesnt matter if the girls life is gone. that has nothing to do with the living. thats a cold reality of life.

nothing you can do to them will bring her back. and because she died does not mean they should more or less die forever too.

thats not how it works.

it was an accident. period.

there was no FATAL blow. she hit her head on the sink. read the news story.
if i swing at you and you lean back and slip. and you hit your head the wrong way you will die or could have brain damage. and i dont even technically have to land the blow. all you have to do is slip and bang your head wrong. should i be carted off to jail as an adult if i was a kid in highschool? hell no.

the only reason they will try to bring up adult charges on these girls is because they are black. you havent noticed thats what they always do to black kids. "so and so will be tried as an adult. " its been scientifically proven kids do not completely understand the consequences of their actions until they are fully grown.

None of this matters.

It's involuntary manslaughter.

People need to understand actions have consequences.

They are going to be punished. How harsh will depend on the judge and jury.
what does that mean? actions have consequences? they know that. the kids will have a record. they will do some jail time. but how far are you trying to go? you put them in jail for a silly girl high school fight for 20 years and guess what. you may as well kill them too. they will never have a real job if at all. they will probably come out and end up homeless at some point since they wont be able to hold a real job with said record. especially for what it woudl be for (killing someone). So unless you're trying to give them the death penalty on some eye for an eye. then we need to back up off the extra punishment. it was involuntary manslaughter. no one tried to kill anyone. they were fighting the girl. no they shouldnt have jumped her. but one person vs one person could still end this way. you're fighting in a bathroom where i can be slippery and their are sinks around.

This isn't about race.

These girls killed somebody.

You don't know if there was no fatal blow or not. Some reports say her head was slammed into the sink. The courts will decide what's true.
Doesn't matter if it was an accident.

These kids are teenagers who fully understand murder.

It doesn't matter if their didnt don't understand consequences because their parents didn't teach them about consequences of actions. They are fully capable of understanding consequences. Science has never disproven this as fact. The law will teach them this reality.

They only thing that will save some of these girls will be expensive lawyers who can argue all the nonsense you're spouting.
