Our...you own no stock, no slush fund, no rights to BLM. It's called being orchestrated outside your community. They offer up all the solutions to your problems and leave you with the consequences.

You can support the BLM group from the outside but when it comes to real actual change, you have no say in it.

My mother started a non profit about 15 yrs ago (it's not a hustle, she never received a salary). Many orgs wanted to fund her, she refused. They wanted to put her up for ny'er of the week, she refused. Because, as a former Panther, she know this game. So she refused any official funding, opting instead to fundraise from small donors who, ngl, were mostly do gooder type wp. That worked out better in terms of organizational freedom bc you didn't have one big donor giving the bulk and thus having a say in the direction of the non profit. Duh.
