Truth. Big city schools and schools with brehs like Deion can pluck anyone they want.

HBCU's finna rise and a school like SoCal is gonna CLEAN UP.

There will be "haves" and "have nots" but everyone assumes the current Blue Bloods will be on top. Alumni base matters but being in close proximity to action matters more.

Yep and that is also why I was saying that JSU would be a good destination for Deion and a perfect storm. Its a HBCU is an actual city and a city that is 80% black. Jackson is also in the heart of the state and major highways run through it in 55, 20 and 49. Major traffic runs through it people all over the country come to Jackson. So as a kid you really don't have to miss out on much if you coming to JSU (unlike say Grambling, Valley State and Alcorn).

He's a superstar. It's one thing to do this in the ACC or SEC but in the SWAC, that takes extreme talent.

Yep exactly and most importantly is he is from Jackson born and raised and so is his family. He is less likely to treat this like another AD. This is home to him and part of his/families culture and in their backyard.

Deion doing IRL what I was doing in the NCAA Football Dyanasty mode

WATTBA :wow:

same, rep pending:wow:

I was listening to the radio here and cacs is salty as shyt. They really hate a black man beating them at their own game. I heard one caller say that its sad that college football has become "about race" :mjlol:

Everything is about race in this country, even churches is segregated fam

Heard one of em say:damn: "why go to HBCU?? doesnt this go against everything we've been fighting for as a country??"

dear lord they are sooooooo fxcking transparent.:mjlol:

Gotta realize whenver WE as people build something THEY want to tear it down, they fear this. I think the move is genius one of them historical moves especially if this brotha go pro it would be crazy. Deion is a BOSS right now,he leaves JSU he is going to be an employee at these white schools. Once an HBCU beats one of these Power 5 schools in a game then it will definetely be on and poppin.

:hhh:"Quit complaining. You people need to Pull yourselves up by the bootstraps like everyone else."

*Secures bag, no help*

*succeeds in establishing a massive self-sustaining revenue stream.*

:whoa: "Hey c'mon whats with all the separation can't we all just get along grow wealth together? Whatever happened to 'united we stand'? MLK would have wanted us all to be together, remember??"

Deion had Shedeur spend time with Tom Brady in the offense.

Shedeur Sanders is 'THE REAL DEAL' - Period!

Deion Sanders had Shedeur spend time with seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady during the offseason, which was priceless for the young QB.

That explains a lot because the young man looks very advanced for a college qb period, even in a power 5

NIL actually allowing student athletes to make more comfortable decisions for themselves. the money is great and its security but its really the added freedom that its providing that is the big W. some kids just want to go to smaller schools, athletes or not. theres an appeal to that rather than being on a massive campus. i can imagine that many athletes felt compelled to go to big schools because of the security of the spotlight and future career prospects. NIL provides a bit of a buffer to make less conventional moves that may be better fits for the individual. people shytting on this are clowns

good for deion. hes the reason why i wore a stretchy book cover on my head during flag football when i lead the middle school in interceptions :wow:

i also imagine that this would happen a bit for Deion anyway even without NIL but clearly this give him an opportunity to create a powerhouse. the question now is would he stay to create a dynasty or go to the NFL?

The NIL levels the playing field. Before power 5 schools could throw booster money at recruits

in the most literal sense, its still not level...they can still throw booster money...but it certainly alleviates some pressure from kids to do shyt they dont want to do which is an existential W aside from the matter at hand. that sticks with people in terms of confidence and assertion in their lives.

I mean Deion himself is looking to leave hbcu first chance he can. This is more indicative of the power of "celebrity coaches" opposed to hbcu's. What you'll see is, major schools investing money into likes of unproven celebrity coaches like deion. He interviewed for headcoach at TCU this past spring, I can see him being FSU head coach by next year. This is good for minority coaches but don't mean much for hbcu's UNTIL major money is invested in improving the infrastructure.
