yea i just did this and the video looks clean as fukk

i did a few comparisons with vlc and this shyt looks so much better

how do you upscale regular dvdrips tho and what settings did you change?

in potplayer i press f5 to bring up the preferences menu, then find the video resize part like in this pic and these are my settings

basically have it so that if the video is smaller than 1800x800 then it rescales it to 1920x1080 (while keeping the aspect ratio the same)

so since dvd's are 720x480, this falls under 1800x800 so itll upscale. same with 720p


been working like a charm for me so far
