I bet Laviska would ball out in that 9ners offense. They don’t ask their receivers to do much as far as route running.

I hear you but Shenault can't even catch drags and is fumbling when he tries to get physical after the catch.

We're asking him to be half the player Deebo is and he's flopping. He'd probably be better than he is here but he ain't it

Well they started out asking him to play slot in a west coast offense which obviously doesn’t fit his skill set because he’s not quick or good at route running.

he has the same skill set as deebo IMO. Fumbles happen but I’ve also seen him carry defenders. I think he’s pressing bc he’s been fukking up so much. The west coast offense that we are running doesn’t fit out players, including Trevor, who isn’t very accurate

How yall use him tho?
If the 9ers tried to make Deebo be Devante Adams he wouldn't be as successful. He's put in the position to do what he does best. Does Jacksonville OC do that?

Bingo. Had him playing in the slot to start the season and now he’s an x receiver. They have no clue how to use him.

That dumb ass OC Bevell has him outside like he can win 1 on 1s.

See i feared that. Vishka was a dude I liked watching when he was in college.
Career was doomed soon as he was drafted :francis:

It's actually the other way around, outside of Brandon Aiyuk, we don't have a real burner on offense, so route running is essential to be a wide receiver in our offense, this is partially why guys like Dante Pettis were bust (among other things).

The plays have branches based on coverage, etc. This is why it typically takes 2-3 years for receivers to break out in our offense.

What makes Deebo special is his combination of precise routes (Emmanuel Sanders helped worked with him on that), square running style and low center of gravity.
