Nieces, Nephews who ever it doesn’t have to be her children. This seems wrong somehow. Like desecration.
It’s their religion sis and she obviously felt strongly enough in her beliefs to become a nun and lived with such purpose that these folks have venerated her

I think it’s beautiful and inspiring personally

”We as ’Black’ folk" don’t share the same ways

Doesn’t mean they/she agreed to have her body on display after her death for all around to touch. When was the last time this happened?

True

Point taken

Even a good number of ancient Roman Catholic Saints are black

So everyone is skating over this part of her interview?

According to an autobiography shared by the religious order she founded, in 1934, when she was nine, she took First Communion, later writing that she experienced a vision in which 'Our Lord asked me if I would be His.'

Have a seat and explain yourself God

@MMS what’s going on here? :ohhh:
in the orthodox side, when a body doesnt decompose and is incorruptible it is believed to be a sign of divine grace from God

meaning that God still watches over the remains of the body. This is the logic behind the many relics throughout antiquity. Sometimes it seems alittle extra to me but im not the one collecting them either :yeshrug:
