No, he's not. Payton's not a good defender and Bullock is solid, but he's not a lock down defender which got exposed during the Hawks series.. Walker and Fournier are downgrades on D, but the Knicks still have the personnel to finish an above average defense despite the poor start. Randle's taken a big step back on defense and opponents are hitting threes at an insane clip which was expected after last year.
