I didn’t see the whole game but you’re right IQ is a sixth man. I also think the issue is Mcbride isn’t able to offensively create enough to make things easier, plus Cam was out there struggling.
IQ needs a second ball-handler to help him for sure. Deuce and Cam weren't helping him much and he wound up settling too much or having to take late shot-clock jumpers. He found chemistry with Hartenstein late and the entire second-unit offense came alive. Unfortunately, they couldn't stop anybody from that point so it didn't matter.

Are you watching now. You think that is impressive??

Wake up breh.
Thank you ! Outside of the threes he hit in first gsme I watch him like put in sims this isn’t it . Maybe it’s Thibs scheme idk but I expected something more dynamic
That man had 10 rebounds, 5 dimes, and knocked down a three ball in just 23 minutes

His touchdown fast ball outlet to Obi was one of the highlights of the game and he had several other passes DHO and short rolls that led to good ball movement

I'm giving him some more time. Hart's struggling because I think he's dropping too far and that lets players build momentum before they reach him. Sims hasn't gotten any fair shake at minutes, but he's been frustrating on the glass. The Obi/Sims tandem only got two minutes and I think it's because they were destroyed on the defensive glass.
Sims tried to bring the ball up instead of giving it to McBridge and got stripped by McConnell

shyt like that is frustrating to Thibs

I kinda blamed McBride for that one, he tried to head over to help but got too close. That left TJ with room to double and close the passing lane at the same time. But that'll happen when you trot out three third-stringers in a single line-up while some of Indy's starters (at least in this game) are still on the floor.

I wouldn’t say Hart struggled. Cam, Quickley & Obi couldn’t generate any offense and Hart was the only one in that fourth who was generating any consistent offense.

Defensively, Hart's not sniffing what he's capable of. He's a better defender than what we've seen so far even though he hasn't been bad. Offensively, he's already showing a ton of promise.

So Brunson struggles, and we lose.

I wonder if that's going to be a reoccurring theme during the regular season. Whenever he struggles, the team struggles. Whenever he plays well, team could beat anybody :lupe::patrice:
Did you watch the game ? No offense This isn’t on Brunson at all breh . The bench was ass with no rose .

I didn’t find him impressive he got minutes he got stats cool . He can pass and shoot but nothing to the effect I want him day starting over Mitch and I’m not impressed by his defense so far either

Sims loves dribbling he definitely wanted to take it past half court and when he got pressured coughed it up.

He was a top rim protector in basketball last season if you want to judge him off a preseason game because we lost with an ineffective closing lineup be my guest.

I don't doubt that, he's been doing it since summer league. Sims shouldn't be dribbling in that situation, or at least it's one dribble into space and then find a ball-handler.

But as a guard, if I bring my defender over and gift wrap the sideline trap to the other team; I’m blaming myself as much as the big man for the turnover.
