you say this like we had a hyper efficient kawhi and pascal on the team both of whom were 6'8+ and were the two best players in the series for the raptors
Knicks have to continue to improve.

R.J. is a dog right? We’ve always had high hopes for Mitch.

Just because I believe small backcourts can win does not mean I think this one can.

where does the improvement come if you toss out 6 picks and 3 young guys. do we actually get solid return for julius while he's at his lowest value?
if rj gives you raw impact/production of pascal....im not sure where else we get the talent necessary. do we flip brunson down the road?
it's wild variables.

R.J. could actually be in his ideal role or at least how I always visualized a maximized version of himself playing with those guys.

Randle has to go it’s that simple. If somehow we can hold onto Toppin at least. :mjcry:
It all makes sense if we can dump Randle and bring back Melo for the back-up role. That's the dream right there.

Did you call in to CPs show from Vegas? Someone mentioned that on his show.
Nah, that wasn’t me.

But yeah if the argument is well they had Kawhi Leonard. It’s not a good argument.

Yeah you need a transcendent talent to win. If we don’t trade for Mitchell we wouldn’t be any closer to that or a title.

R.J. Barrett has been a blue chip since high school, top 3 pick, supposedly untouchable in trade talks, he is due for big money, most Knicks fans believe he is a future star. If that’s the case then the weight is on his shoulders. He’s the man right? Well with his development he should take the team to the next level.

Time for the wacky three year Knicks president/gm trade which blows up their so called rebuilding plan. Doesn't matter who Layden, Isiah, Walsh, Grunwald, Phil, Perry and now Rose. Year three of draft pick talk. It trade the young guys time.
you realize this has been the Fo plans . Why do you think they been acquiring draft capital to draft like 15 young people ???

You know what, that’s actually fair. RJ is 22. By the time he’s hitting his prime in 3-4 years? These contracts will be up. We don’t need to put a ceiling on this team at all. Just don’t get raped.

I feel like it’s either Obi and Fournier or IQ and Randle (Cam + McBride i think go with them in both scenarios). Who would y’all rather lose?

Ainge wouldn’t take this.

Reddish is a non-factor in this league at this point and McBride doesn’t even look like an NBA player. :comeon:

It’s my preference that the Knicks trade Quickley over Toppin if it comes down to it because he becomes redundant if we get Mitchell.

FYI those aren’t Knicks fans who came up with these offers. It was a collection of ESPN writers.
