Put the ball in Tyler Herro's hands, make him be the number one option on his team and tell me what he looks like.

Listen....Herro is NICE. But he's feasting in a bench role whereas RJ has been showing his potential as a starter from the beginning.
Herro plays starter minutes. If Herro were a Knick he’d put up more buckets and would be more efficient than R.J. is and he had space the floor more for Julius. All these assumptions over what guys—much better shooters like Bane and Herro would and wouldn’t do here.

Y’all keep talking about this list. This is some ESPN+ shyt they’re looking at analytics. 13 PER, negative box plus minus on both ends, career 51% TS.

:trash:

They ain’t putting that nikka on the list he hasn’t been good enough and his potential isn’t that high :heh:

I don't like how everybody is talking trading picks when the lottery hasn't happened yet. Can we know where we pick before we try to trade our pick?
If y'all are picking first, there's no real reason to keep it. What the Knicks need the most isn't really in abundance in this draft.

What’s he missing? His 2 biggest flaws are explosiveness and shooting.

What I’m learning to appreciate is what he lacked in explosiveness he makes up on strength. I’ve said on here his rookie year that when he gets to his prime we can see him leverage his strength and he’s already doing it in year 3. He’s only going to get stronger.

His shooting is going to be the difference imo. I’m willing to bet he can become an average shooter purely based on the fact that he gives a fukk and that it’s the easiest skill set to improve for a basketball player who isn’t a mental midget.
I mean, for a franchise-level wing player, those are extremely important. :heh:

Usually you want your top perimeter player to have one or the other, or preferably both. Can't think of a top 2/3 today, or really ever, that didn't have either.

I don't view him as a particularly skilled shot creator nor consistent shooter. I think that's where guys on a comparable level ie Herro, Edwards, etc have a big leg up on him. If he does end up developing a consistent jumper, I'll readily admit I was wrong about him. That would easily take him up a notch.

You gonna get mad at me for calling you delusional because Herro playing better than RJ and has a better efficiency. Look at the game now vs the hawks. Y'all nikkas tripping.

That top 25 deserve to be there. I'd get Miles Bridges this off season and let Barrett go (worse case scenario cause the kid gotta high ceiling), no offense. 20 mil a year for RJ too high.

All them words and you never responded to the main reason why Herro's potential is lower than RJs.

*Checks Tyler Herro stats from game 1 in the playoffs*

Looking funny in the light

:dahell:

What the Knicks need most is high end talent. Trading a top 4 pick when there is a potential star in the top 4 is hustling backwards UNLESS we can trade it for another star.

Tell me which of Banchero, Holmgren, Parker or Ivey you WOULDNT want next to IQ, RJ, and Obi.

Did you miss R.J. Barrett being :trash: in last years playoffs he also had 8 games this season where he scored in single digits

U also didn’t list any reasons why Herro’s potential is lower :mjtf:
