1st Round Playoff Exits

We really can’t mess this up. These dudes literally spend time at each other’s homes.

Help me come up with a Fournier trade brehs. He’s gotta go too to make room for the wing we’re drafting at 12. (Whoever falls between Davis, Sharpe, Daniels or Mathurin). I think the Jazz for Juancho (expiring) and Rudy Gay (2 years left) works.

I like story’s idea for a back up 4 with Jalen Smith or Eric Paschall.

We could probably attach second rounders to Burks, Noel and Kemba pretty easily.

Julius to Portland makes way too much sense and is actually a good fit for him. I’d ask for the NO pick but I doubt we get it, I’d take Keon and whatever picks they give up.

Inject this roster into my veins:

IQ-Rose-McBride
RJ-Grimes-Keon Johnson
Cam-Shaedon Sharpe-Rudy Gay
Obi-Jalen Smith-Juancho Hernangomez
Mitch-Sims-Taj

We don’t want randle :dahell:

Knick fans will probably hate me for this and I agree because I don't know if this guy is a fit for anyone at this stage but I would seriously consider a swap of Randle, Noel, and Kemba for Westbrook. If it fails with Russ. Bench him asap. Randle contract is too long and he's a net negative.

To me, I would do that, do a SnT for Mo Bamba as well as resign Mitchell Robinson.

To me, that's what I would do.

I wouldnt move Evan. I still think he got value.

Jokes aside I don’t see them trading for Westbrook. He is the albatross contract people like to pretend Julius is.

How I see the off-season is

1) Trade Randle to Portland (I hope!) for pick #12, but trade him and get something back. He is still very talented he’s just miscasted as a first option.
2) Pay Mitch, he deserves it and is clearly better than Sims who in turn I think is better than Noel
3) Extend RJ
3) play the Baby Knicks
4) trade at least one of Noel, Burks, and Fournier
5) Waive Kemba

I been on this forum since damn near 2016 saying play the damn kids….. I still can’t imagine them doing it. Though this group is the best set of kids they’ve had on the roster in my entire life and I am damn near 40z

Not at this point. Westbrook is an expiring with one year left while Randles extension officially starts next season. Lakers would be doing us a monumental favor with that deal.
No they wouldn’t because that isn’t how cap space works.

Let’s say they do that Westbrook trade. His money coincides with RJ, Mitch, and Cam needing to get paid. Cap holds lessen his value. All the Knicks would do is open about 20 something in cap space in a weak FA. You can move Randle or Fournier by themselves and create just as much space.

The real move is trade Randle for Rudy Gay or Eric Bledsoe and try to get kids/picks back.

Knicks fukked up their free cap space. No real do-overs because they needed to sign good players before the kids needed to get paid.

Ahahaha who’s pushing this narrative to y’all that Portland has Randle on their radar.

I made that trade scenario up on my own….. I speculate a lot on this forum because why the fukk not.
:yeshrug:

Similar to how I called the IQ and McBride picks, and the Cam trade… every so often I predict it right.
:ehh:
A certain ATL poster even negged me for that Cam for Hornets pick trade scenario I was talking about in preseason. But it’s all love, he just couldn’t see the vision!
:wow:
Anyhow #12 for Randle is not a stretch when you remember the team still wants to get Dame into the playoffs. At this point they owe him some legit Playoff runs. Blazers said they want Jerami Grant and Randle is better than Jerami Grant. Jerami is only better defensively than Randle, but who are we kidding the Blazers ain’t about defense. Allso the Knicks might take a lot less for Randle compared to Detroit’s request for Grant who already said they want #12 and Hart for Grant. Let’s not even get started on the fact Grant only played 47 games this season and 54 last season.

Dame
Simmons
Hart
Randle
Nurkic

If the Blazers Wisely draft a Center at 6 (Maybe Duren, maybe Mark Williams) and have Nasir Little as a sixth man wing. That is a team in contention for the playoff off of offense.

shyt you should hope the Blazers trade for Randle instead of Jerami Grant
