It's a damn shame what happened to Death Row. Pac, Snoop, Dre, Nate Dogg, Kurupt, Daz, Quik, Rage, Danny Boy, Bow Wow was coming up under them...

Their run was one of the greatest for sure. Had it lasted, it would have been undisputedly the best by far.

if u believe that shyt u just wrote then 'cocaine iz a hellva drug'
at the end of the day its all comes down to opinion vs opinion

with that said
as far as mc'ing its no comparison -breh
bad boy top 5 vs death row top 5
AGAIN .... as far as MC'ing... list goes like this

  1. biggie
  2. jadakiss
  3. ma$e
  4. styles
  5. kurupt
  6. snoop
  7. pac
  8. black rob
  9. rage
  10. daz
and u would replace rage & daz to sheek & shyne if u just take the top 10 combined instead of 5 on 5

DR was way more about the sound/G funk era then they was about the mc'ing/rapping !
breh rage shytted on kurupt n snoop on every death row feature...

its a reason why rage started off doggystyle

kurupt n rage were neck to neck on the chronic..

but doggystyle n dogg food...she let her nuts hang...

afro puffs was kinda corny but she was spittin her ass off...

pissed me off when afro puffs came out..

kuz this bytch was showin raw naked spleen on every track...from stranded on death row...to puffin blunts..

then when its her time to shine..u got the bytch talkin bout her hair

snoop get his last meal..who shows up n wreck it..rage

rage was not only wreckin mics..but she was body slamming kurupt n daz

Snoop, Kurupt, Rage were all nicer than BIG in their prime. DR was def known on their production, had Dre at his peak, what do u expect? But they def had some MC's on the roster in their day.

bruh, you mentioned "funk da world". an album most probably don't even remember craig mack had :pachaha:

he's known for a remix, that's it. that's his callin' card :mjlol:

you tryin' real hard to shyt on "dogg food" but real nikkas know what time it is :wow:
bruh i appreciate you being a NY head, grew up in the BB era, but I highly advise you edit this post

for your own sake and credibility

:snoop:
yall are vastly overrating dogg food its solid NOT a classic -like i said its not even a top 10 album from 1995

and base off funk da world being the 1st badboy LP and flavor in ur ear being da song that set shyt off thereafter the remix going down as historically an ALL TIME CLASSIC song, colabo& movement makes it >>> dogg food which basically besides snoop kicking down a nyc building in there vid has lil to no effect to the game

7mile to SE & Uptown!
I don't think he's good at finding the right talent. He can work with great talents but finding and bringing his own artists hasn't been his strong point. Sugar Free is dope but he doesn't have the same appeal as a Snoop Dogg that can keep a label going.

I think you know what I mean but I don't think in saying it right lol
bullshyt...before their was even a Death Row click His crew of 2ndIInone, Hi-c, AMG, Penthouse Playas Click were all making noise.

Bad Boy had a good run in the 90s Biggie was definitely a force you had Total and Faith Evans on the R&B side of things but Deathrow man was something else:wow: when it comes to albums Dre and Daz overseeing those projects the music was

just timelesss. But after BiG and Pac died Bad Boy>>>>>>>>>> without a question but before their deaths I gotta go with

Deathrow.

dre wasnt at his peak yet...he was done n did all he could do with g-funk...

sam sneed in the mix now..so now he was focusin on somethin new..

dre is the biggest chamelon in the rap game production wise..

wrecking crew he was doin what dj unknown n dj slip nem was doin with the techno scene in la...

techno die in la...public enemy was hittin hard with the street shyt.. so dre studied the bomb squad...n the nwa compilation n the 1st nwa album were bomb squad influence..

p.e. die.. big hutch n above the law get signed...hutch nem came with g-funk...so dre studied it... nikkaz4life was dre copyin what hutch nem was doin..

he left death row..so he continued n mastered what hutch was doin with gfunk..n made it his..

that died.. sam sneed in the mix..so he masters sam sneed sound..keep their heads ringin n natural born killers...

meets mel man...started doin mel man sound...meets eminem..starts doin em sound...

dre's peak was the 2nd chronic..he put all the era's he mastered together for that album..u can hear every single era in that album if u jus listen
