You need reading comprehension :camby:

I'm a nice guy, had to give you something for a comeback as the amount of time sitting on your ass in your mamas basement online simply couldn't be denied.

Good question but (Devil's advocate), imagine if 'Pac never signed

Dre may have still stayed (I know Suge was bringing and signing people to the label but they could have smoothed it out)

If Dre did stay and 'Pac was left in jail, Death Row may never have fallen

Exactly still the greatest label to me. The power it had was ridiculous

nah. everybody falls off.

suge knew what he was doing. death row needed a jolt.

plus dre & snoop were burnt out and ended up dropping piss-poor follow-ups in '96.

We know that's not true. Deep Cover hook was originally meant to be Cold 187. That's why Snoop's impression of Cold 187 is on that track "It's 1888887" Snoop was working with Cold 187um before he was with Dre. Dre discovered Snoop, he discovered Snoop working with Cold 187 & Cold 187 was busy with other projects,Snoop couldnt wait & Cold 187 gave his blessings to Snoop to work with Dr Dre. :francis:

whats funny is, dre had the inside track thru warren g.

I never understood how warren & snoop were under above the law initially and not dr dre.

they'll never speak on that tho.

:rudy: Universal has been developing a Def Jam biopic for like 3 years now. Not to mention theres already been a def jam biopic

Breh... this is not a Def Jam biopic, lol

People always point to this as a Run-DMC or Def Jam biopic, it's not.

Def Jam was all of one year old when this movie came out. Was a month away from releasing its first album. Run-DMC hadn't even reached the peak of their career yet. It's a loosely based but mostly fictional story.

at 24:30 Warren G confirms on Combat Jack that he gave a demo tape to LA Dre (Ruthless session musician), who played it a bachelor party. LA Dre asked him if he let Dr Dre hear the tape. Warren G said no because he had previously let Dre hear some shyt, and Dre shot him down. LA Dre then convinced Dr Dre to listen to the 213 demo.

at 30:50 he also confirms that he was under Above The Law before fukking with Dre.

I always figured dr dre had something against warren g.

like warren g grew up living with the pop or somethin.

they even had a dark-skinned dude playing warren in "straight outta Compton" and they never mentioned warren's name.

The trial clearly burned Snoop out
