Also wouldn't take much from this fight regarding Kovalev's chin...Pascal has average to below average power at Light Heavyweight.

Stevenson hits waaaaaaay harder and is a much better counter puncher than Pascal...probably has the best shot out of anyone...and i still only give him a 40/60 chance...need to look at more film of Chilemba

kovalev's biggest mistake was he came into this fight with no respect for pascal. he got reckless and you can't do that vs a veteran like pascal. once he composed himself and started working behind his jab again it was over. kovalev won't be this reckless vs stevenson...he knows the type of power he has. that fight could come down to whoever lands the first big punch. wouldn't be surprised to see it end in the first round for either fighter.

that stoppage wasnt a bad stoppage. it wasnt a good one either. it was a judgement call. another ref wouldve let it go for another couple of punches. on one hand....Pascal had no legs. on the other hand, thats the way he fights....he is not going to fire back just so the ref wont stop the fight....he was trying to bait Kovalev into another counter shot. he plays possum a lot. I believe Pascal had his witts about him but the stoppage saved him from the inevitable so its really not one I can argue with.
