Yeah, I remember back in 2017 he was top 5 on Forbes list of WWE salaries. He did 194 events that year, 9% more than anyone else and his merch was moving well.

He's made good money and likely preserved it like you said, on top of Renee eating from the same field as well.

Besides Lesnar and Cena, the Shield guys get paid the most on those yearly updates even though I'm sure they definitely had to pay up for that new Bryan deal.
