B-VITAMINS

get em in your body DAILY

THIS! Get some Fish Oil or some Magnesium as well, works wonders over time. I used an herb called Gotu Kola as well, after a while that ish really works. B Vitamins and some Fish oil though could really do well.

For sure, that's why fish is called brain food. This is why there is a big push giving kids DHA at a young age and prenatal vitamins are coming with DHA more often.

All these vitamins and supplements help better regulate neurotransmitters which gets depleted when we deal with extreme emotion.

Like everyone said, if you run away from your emotions it only makes this worse, avoidance is not a good strategy.

A) Stop resisting it, feel out your emotion fully. There is nothing wrong with Anxiety, it's when you make it a habit..and attach thoughts to it that it builds and can become a nuisance. You have to accept the emotion as it is, FULLY, welcome it! Yes, you literally have to welcome it like it's a guest in your house. If you don't, it becomes a low level stress that's constantly on the forefront of your mind..which is not comfortable. It is normal to have anxiety from time to time, there is nothing wrong with it.

B) Tools to help. Meditation, mindful meditation. Staying in the moment, EFT Tapping (youtube this..it'a based on the meridian system, no acupuncture needles required). Yoga is another great one. Get off message boards for the most part..there are a lot of new age books and alternative method books about anxiety and stress.

Basically, it's all about getting in tune with yourself and understanding that emotions are not bad..when you welcome and accept them fully for what they are, you realize what each one is there for..and what it is teaching you in that moment...then they just float away. It is ONLY when you resist what is, that it latches onto you and takes control. People have the misconception that somebody who is depressed is sad all the time, that's just not true. The person who is depressed is ALWAYS on the brink of feeling that sadness..it stays at the forefront of the mind..yet they don't truly accept that sadness and fully feel it..if they did, it would go away. That is why most depressed people almost always appear to be happy, yet they're never full present...and there's something off about them.

Self awareness is the key. Take the step.

I can also tell that, outside of weed..you probably don't take many risks in your life, correct? Lack of taking genuine risks and putting yourself out there can also lead to anxiety/depression. Basically.. if you're not taking chances in life.. life will find a way to make it more interesting..IE anxiety, depression.

Thanks for the input
I'll look into it
Yeah. I can't say I'm always depressed but I'm rarely ever happy

I feel like I'm a night person
I feel more alive so to speak
When the sun is rising is the ideal time to go to sleep for me

I have to go to bed around 9pm because of work
That stresses me a lil
Also having to wake up and be at work before the sun rises drives me crazy

1) You need to deal with the issues that are making you anxious...What ever problems you have during the day, need to be resolved before the end of the day...

2) You need to start being more logical and emotionally detached...For example, if there is a problem you can't resolve before the end of the day...
A) Write down the problem...What is it, and is it that important?
To know if a problem is important, you need to ask yourself, will it negatively affect
my health, will it negatively affect my ability to make wealth?
Anything that does not affect your ability to stay healthy and pursue wealth,
should not be considered a problem...If you believe this, you will be more focused
and less anxious...
B) Write down possible solution and pick the best one...A good solution is one that
saves you money and time...One that requires the least amount of energy/resources for the most positive outcome...
C) Once you acknowledge the problem, and you have a possible solution, do
something that distracts your mind...Something that is very repetitive and requires
some brain attention for example, working out in the gym with your favourite music
playing...
D) Have sex/masturbate before you go to sleep, a good orgasm will release chemicals
that relax your body and make you feel sleepy...

Basically, train yourself not to be too emotional, and develop coping mechanisms that involve logically cognitive ways of thinking about problems and their solutions...

Always think logically, and you MIGHT have less anxiety, because anxiety comes from being too emotionally involved with an issue...

One thing I haven't seen mentionned here is...reading. Not sure if it helps directly with anxiety, but it might help you relax: you have to concentrate (which is an exercise in itself) on something else than yourself, but your brain is less stimulated than with a movie or music. A good book will talk your mind off of yourself, and that sense of detachment is just :wow:

Get off the computer at least half an hour before going to bed I'd say, our eyes/brains are way too stimulated in front of the screen and it's hard to really switch off mentally. Same with TV (not as bad, but still).

Do you ever go outdoors? Like in a park/forest. If you can, go and have a long walk there (long walks are good anywhere btw), nature has a way to "ease" you. (I'm not even on that all-natural Mother Nature tip, but it's true).

Good stuff. One thing I noticed about chicks (as compared to most men) is sometimes they will randomly say things like "I feel nervous right now", "I feel so bad right now", etc. Living in the moment as it happens acknowledging the emotion it will eventually fade out.

Truth

That's also why you have to let women feel out their emotions and get over whatever they're going through, instead of trying to be their psychologist. Women are naturally just more in tune with their emotions.

like a few people have mentioned, try exercise. you don't have to go to the 'gym' and kill yourself. but just make sure you get out and move around

our ancestors had to walk 10 miles to get water and shyt. now people go from the bed, to the car, to the cubicle, back to the car, to the tv/computer, then back to bed
