hes been drawn older in uncanny, but still not as old as lang
You can take some liberties for a movie. Deadpool isn't a mutant in the comics and Negasonic Teenage Warhead is basically a completely different character..

He fits him perfect but only A list actors can push for their casting of choice most of the time but still a studio will play hardball to get the money right unless they already apart of a franchise under their umbrella
deadpool isnt a mutant in the movies either.
In the film they unleash his dormant mutant powers through torture/pressure.
mutates and mutants arent the same. that dude that was with him was subjected to the same thing. they were looking for test subjects with nothing to lose, not mutants
Ah, okay. My mistake. Guess that aspect carried over from the comics after all (Pool being a mutate).
