Great to have this show back, I love the fact they have the most fun playing with different formats :ehh:

Rasputin was fun, and his death was pretty brutal :picard: Both Ray and Nate got to use their powers.

I'm cool with Mona dipping as she works best in small doses.

I did miss Zari and hopefully we can get her back to her Mortal Kombat/food loving self. Her brother seemed solid though and liked him vibing with Sara.

Lol at taking a camera crew to the early 1900s

LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Alum Brandon Routh Says His Arrowverse Exit Was "Was Not Well Handled"

Legends of Tomorrow is a matter of weeks away from losing original cast member Brandon Routh, and the former Superman believes that his exit was not well handled and doesn't adhere to the comic books!

Last summer, it was revealed that hunky Arrowverse actor Brandon Routh and his beautiful real-life wife Courtney Ford had been politely fired from Legends of Tomorrow, and the former Superman made a point of telling his loyal Instagram followers that his exit was "not my choice."

In an interview with Smallville alum Michael Rosenbaum, Routh expressed that filming his final few episodes of The CW series was "a very traumatic event for me" and "not something I was expecting. It was not well handled." He also spoiled his departure by detailing its lack of comic book accuracy.

"In the comic book world, Ray Palmer...disappears, but he leaves his belt behind, which is in the comics how he has the power to shrink, and this young man takes over, Ryan Choi, and becomes the Atom. That's not what happens with Ray...he doesn't get lost into the multiverse. We're not following the comic book structure."

It also sounds like a return to Legends of Tomorrow isn't something the actor is sure about right now as he explains, "That's kind of a bridge that I will decide to cross when I get there."

Legends of Tomorrow no longer takes itself overly seriously, but the sweet romance between Ray Palmer and Nora Darhk has been nothing short of adordable, and the show losing that is going to hurt big time!

SAYING GOODBYE – The Legends continue their hunt for pieces of the Loom of Fate and find themselves face to face with William Shakespeare. Ray (Brandon Routh), Nate (Nick Zano), Rory (Dominic Purcell), Constantine (Matt Ryan), Charlie (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) and Behrad (guest star Shayan Sobhian) stay a little longer on the mission making things worse after lying to Sara (Caity Lotz). Meanwhile, Ray and Nora (Courtney Ford) make another big life decision that leaves the team surprised and best buds, Nate and Ray, on the outs. Jes Macallan, Tala Ashe and Olivia Swann also star. Alexandra LaRoche directed the episode written by Ray Utarnachitt & Matthew Maala.

He should blame budget cuts for his departure and not take it so personal. It happens with every show.

I’m surprised that it hasn’t happened to Jesse L. Martin yet from The Flash.

he's not taking it personal.. he's saying his departure is NO WHERE close to comic accurate. Not even an adaptation of something.

he didnt like the story and the way it was done

Honestly if budget was an issue then I would have been cool with them firing Charlie, Zari, Zari's brother, Ava, Gary and as much as I love him Mick before I would've gotten rid of Ray.

They should have wrote him off during the Crisis. Idk why they didn’t. Replace him with the new Atom if it wasn’t just a one off appearance for COIE.

thats actually what i thought they were gonna do. or at least have the say hi to Ryan after or something.
Ryan is an afterthought ...

Has he even been seen or mentioned Post-Crisis? His appearance in the Crisis was rather a waste if they never had any plans for him after it was done.

Legends of Tomorrow: Routh Reveals Which Final Scene Was Hardest to Film
Brandon Routh may play tough guys on screen, but he was a total softie when it came time to film his final scenes for Legends of Tomorrow.

"I did cry a little," Routh recalled on Michael Rosenbaum's podcast Inside of You. "It was a weird schedule, because we were filming the crossover as I was filming my last two episodes," Routh explained, "So it was going back and forth on crossover days to episode days and there's very dramatic scenes in the last couple episodes, one between Nick Zano and I. That was the hardest."

Routh, who is leaving the show — along with Courtney Ford — said he got a lot of his emotions out that day, "On set [and] on camera."

"We didn't have to reach for it," Routh said. "So the last day, I was in the Atom suit doing green screen, working by myself, with the crew, so it was kind of a weird last day." He then explained that while co-star Courtney Ford was not there, the two shared plenty of emotions on their last day of filming together.

Routh told Rosenbaum that it was somewhat of an unfamiliar situation. "Leaving wasn't my choice, so there's all of those feelings mixed up in there and, to my knowledge, nobody on the crew wanted to see me go," Routh asserted. "So I take that experience and I'm very grateful for it."
