Superman is the OG superhero and greatest Superhero. Modern superheroes are derivative of him in some way.
His GOATness must remain unquestioned and uncontested.
I used to like Shazam more than Superman, ironically Man of Steel made me like Superman more because for the first time he wasn't 'perfect' but flawed and unsure of himself. Film was a gateway drug into the GOAT and his stories.

Let's stop using shytty movies as reasons for why they can or cant do something.

Steppenwolf was treated like a jobber.

Zod was killed off after one movie and realistically should have been the first justice league villain.

That ish was terrible tho and proved that the writer didn't understand the point of the Justice League.

When there's threats that even Superman or Diana can't handle alone, the League steps in.

Superman styling on Steppenwolf undercut the whole movie.

Only a lost Superman stan would see the glaring flaw as a feature.

None of this addresses my point, which is that with the live action Justice League movie they've clearly established that Superman is in a tier by himself, and that tier is above Steppenwolf

That means any challenge he faces in future movies will require massive CGI

Again, I think that's one of the main reasons why he's currently lackluster in the DC cinematic universe

MCU Thor is wayy is more interesting than Superman and I didn't know shyt about Thor until the Avengers cartoons came out several years ago. I've been watching Justice League when they aired that after DBZ on YTV. Superman will never beat Thor Ragnarok.

Ragnarok was good because of it's B story planet hulk plot. The Asgardian stuff was pretty weak in comparison.
