I only agree with this if the plan is to do a complete reboot of the universe.

Start all the way from scratch. Discontinue all these elsewhere films when you finally kick off this universe.

It's a shame because DC didn't need a full reboot. They are a lot of things that actually work well. They simply need better storytellers not new actors and completely new continuity from nothing... Which means more pseudo-Origin stories.

Reeves, Routh and Cavill were essentially unkowns when they were cast. There is no shortage of them out there wanting to take on such a high profile role, and likely what Gunn will go with. Additionally, Routh and Cavill got screwed because of the lack of vision for the character/movies. If Gunn can turn DC around, that won't be an issue going forward.

Good news for DCU, bad news for Cavill. It seemed like they were going to blow it up as they should as opposed to the mix match of different universes. I love MoS and always will but this was the right move. Now i gotta know whats happening with Blue Beatle going forward.

Let's face it, The Rock was really feeling himself way too hard and talking reckless out here. lol. It was kinda ridiculous the way he carried on like he was going to just take over the entire DC universe and refashion it according to his vision. Like c'mon, did anyone really buy that?

Feel bad for Cavill man, dude got fukked over in the Snyderverse run, campaigned to get the Witcher made, got fukked over there, brought back to DC, LEFT THE Witcher to go to DC, ends up losing the Superman job after publicly confirming it was his and the Witcher too ? And just last week Gunn was going at some Twitter nerd that said he personally didnt like Cavill saying that was cap but I guess the Twitter guy was right

They’re definitely starting from scratch. As for everything else, like I said before, it would be smart to throw Matt Reeves the BAG of bags to enfold his Batverse into the new DC continuity they’re building

Listen... there's no bigger fan than man of steel than me.. but when i heard james gunn was going to be the new head of DC.. to me that said "reboot" and that's exactly what Gunn needs to do to separate himself from Snyder. You can't do it half-way..
