Shazaam done?!?! wasnt his movie one of the most sleeper hits they had and brought in money???

ehhh.........cost 100M and made 366M at box office. Rule of them for movies is they gotta make 2.5x their budget to break even. You gotta remember studios don't get all the money a movie generates in theaters. And I dont think that budget listed on wikipedia includes marketing, which can be just as much as the cost of the movie. So that movie may have barely broke even theater wise.

If the good standalone movie, why can't we just watch a good movie even though I wasn't a fan of Aquaman and will never see joker.

I agree, but they've shown they are caving to pressure to try and replicate what the MCU is doing. You can't replicate what the Infinity Saga did...shyt they can't even pull that off again as shown by Phase 4 and it's mid arch at best.

All in the name of trying to do this one universe shyt. They had multiple universes for years in the media and was fine. Trying to copy the one universe for all characters shyt Marvel is doing doesn't have to be the standard. Hell, Even the MCU has shown multiple concurrent universes now.

Are they going to integrate The Batman somehow or leave that in it's own parallel universe? I'd rather them leave that version in it's own universe so we can have different stories told from different perspectives and you can still have other DC characters or different interpretations in those as well!

They made 74 million in net profit and that was before streaming/dvd/bluray licensing for TV, etc. That 366 was strictly theatrical.

I bet he doesn't do Batman for awhile, waits for Reeves to complete his trilogy THEN asks Pattinson if he wants to continue. If he does great, if he doesn't he will recast. He already said there won't be 2 versions of any character.
