Piccolo is Tyler Hansbrough.

He was one of the GOATs in college (Saiyan/Frieza saga) but once he made it to the league and the level of competition stepped up (Cell Saga) he became a bench player.

Piccolo did more work.

And I say that as probably the biggest Krillin stan in the Film Room. IMO the most underrated character in the series.

But when Piccolo fought 17 though... :whew:

I wouldnt say GOAT. He caught the beats along with all the other fighters from Nappa, died, then was MIA all of the Namek saga until he showed up to fight Frieza (2nd form), then immediately caught the beats from 3rd form Frieza.

Yea but he did kill Raditz, who at that point was the strongest villain they'd faced. And he did the best against Frieza.

He wasn't nearly as powerful as Goku but he was definitely a tier above the other Z-fighters before SSJ made all the Saiyans OP.
