That's what I heard. Disappointing it's never found it's way to us.
Yeah that's a travesty, I remember when it first started getting spin on mix shows shortly before the album dropped and thinking how crazy the video was gonna be, it still boggles my mind why they wouldn't drop it since they already had CD and Vinyl shipped for the single and the radio/video version has re recorded lyrics and vocal takes, like just finish it out with working that single, the ball was already well in motion.I'm still pissed about the Respect video from DPG. Hell yeah it is, the one with Tha Dogg Pound right? I never found a good quality version of it but the tape dub or whatever that I do have is good enough.
And I remember right after Dogg Food came out Daz and Kurupt hosted MTV Raps and Daz was saying "we're about to go into our video for the first single for the album, Respect" and then it launched into Let's Play House. I was that refrigerator gif that night
Yup, it was originally gonna be a Dogg Food single, theres some promo materials with it on the track listing, theres a crisp version of it out there.Hell yeah it is, the one with Tha Dogg Pound right? If you've ever seen the Dogg Food commercial Respect was allegedly filmed the same time, so you can kinda get an idea of what it might look like.
