This was really a great album, but I think "callin out names" destroyed the push for it. We were just a few years removed from the deaths of 2pac and Biggie and hip hop was becoming more global than ever.

When he speaks on that album. That's the one thing he says he regrets doing and how that song killed all momentum the album has to be bigger. Said even Snoop told him it would kill his push but he openly admit he moved off emotion on that situation
