Kurupt was so dope in his prime.

Kurupt killed it on chronic 2001.

Copped both on release day. Tell me different. And this is going off replay value alone, to this day.

Been listenin to this album quite a bit again recently and I'll just say that this still bangs but its not a classic for me, and thats just because of Kurupt himself. The beats were amazing and still bump like crazy, the guest features were perfect, felt like a death row reunion but Kurupt himself just wasnt in the zone he was in from 93-96/97. Imagine Kurupt going in on those beats like he did on Dogg Food. shyt wouldve been an absolute classic. He shows that he still got it on songs like Trylogy but he had just fallen off by that point.

Kurupt was still pretty dope on here...he spit a leftover Death Row verse from "I Roc Mics" on "Step Up" and he bodied "Trylogy"

I agree his Death Row Sh1t was his best work. There's a recent leaked track he did with Ram Squad in '97 that's :wow:

Yeah that Country Ties Record With Ram Squad is dope, but it has another title on the recently released dr Compilation.
Didn't know that about "Step Up", that was his most impressive lyric Performance on the Album for me (and trylogy), Makes Sense now
