Finished and platted. Went in thinking it was going to be mid, came out with one of my favorite open world games this gen :ehh:

The Plat was a bit too easy but it’s no biggie. Can’t wait for the sequel.

O’brian reminded me of Jared Nomak from Blade II in the end

That ending had me shook.:merchant:

Easily one of the best open world games. So much attention to detail. If anyone is a fan of “The Walking Dead” then this game is right up your alley. I hope there will be more group orientated missions in the sequel.

Shiiitttt...

I’m trying to drive and the steering is WAY too sensitive! can’t even fukking drive in a straight line!!!

Everything about the bike from the handling to having to put gas in it is satisfying to me :yeshrug:

Combat is eh but at least it's effective

Looking back this was one of the better games this gen. Of the open world games that released last year this was the best one. I enjoyed this much more than RDR 2 which felt like a chore to finish. I still don’t get what happened with that game. It wasn’t nearly as fun as the 1st imo.
This game early on was slow but once it picked up it was very fun. The glitches were a huge problem though. At least 2 times I ended up having to redo a mission or a fortified camp because the game wouldn’t indicate I completed it. A few times the game just crashed randomly and I’d have to cut it off and restart it.
But aside from that it’s a fun game. Skizzo might be in my top 10 hatable characters in a game list. His 90’s wigger vibe and all the crap he pulled made me hate bul.

The reaction to this one was weird. One half said it was an abomination that should have never been made, while the other half claimed it was game of the year and a top tier PS exclusive. Felt like a lot of folks were more concerned with pushing back on whatever opinion they rejected & hyperbole as opposed to just playing the game. It was fun, but it wasn't anywhere near mindblowing. It needed work and felt a bit generic, but it wasn't anywhere near as bad as early critics claimed. To each his/her own, I guess. Game was probably the most solid 7 I played this gen. If there's a sequel, I have high hopes.

looking back, i mainly just liked the bike mechanics and customization. Whole having ideas of cooler games using those mechanics. Like a sons of anarchy type biker gang game. What lost and the damned could be with next gen graphics and more dramatic storytelling.

I mean, You got this cool ass bike but can't really use it to its full potential and take it on the open road because all the roads are run down and cluttered with broken down cars. was kinda a waste to me, and zombie games are way too prolific anyways. may as well let Ellie and Joel have that angle. they could at least went with a more road warrior type of vibe instead and left the zombies out of it. The zombies weren't all bad though The Horde mechanic was dope.
