If you say so, there weren't many 1st party titles releasing on the xbox and PC at the same time if at all around 2014- 2016 like that anyway, infact I can't really think of one outside of gears 4. It sure wasn't any halo games... And as console sales showed no one was rushing out to get one to play exclusives on the console. No, that was precisely the issue.
Because it always comes out day 1 on PC...
Which is still day 1 on PC...
It was always about not needing an Xbox because every game was officially being released on PC day 1. Game pass is another topic altogether.
Now, where is the statement from Sony that every game going forward for PS5 will be launching day 1 on PC?
Yeah, Sony been killing it.
They dropped Horizon Zero Dawn a few months after a sudden announcement 3 years later.
What other 1st party titles did they "start dropping" on PC? I'm still waiting for Meach to give me the link to buy God of War 2018 or Uncharted 4 on Steam.
Funny I can do that for practically most Xbox games but for PS4 you're looking at about 2 first-party games.
I'll put my point in big colorful words so you can understand it better:
Any game, upcoming or released in the past few years for the Xbox platform was announced for Xbox AND PC for day 1 release.
This is why I don't bother posting on here because you dudes just be making zero sense.
ANY Xbox game that's coming out is automatically on PC as Microsoft made that official years ago during the Xbox One period. This has been a thing since what? 2015/16? There is no guessing, MSFT isn't releasing any Xbox only games. They're all dropping on PC day 1 hence why someone can comfortably state they can get a Xbox game without getting the console.
You can't say the same for Sony or Nintendo. Before today nobody had any idea days gone was coming to PC as it's been almost two years since it dropped.
I guess I better clear up space for the definitive edition of Uncharted 4 for PC I'll just wait however long it takes
Yeah, laugh out loud
But I'll let you run with that.
It wasn't really until 2017 that I remember seeing games come out at the same time on PC and xbox and at that point it was "I'll just get it on PC instead of getting it on xbox..." again about just not getting a console. It had nothing to do with the time in between releases on each platform there wasn't even a precedent really set for that yet, sometimes you got it with some games and sometimes you didn't. It was just trolling turned reality.
"I'll just get it on PC"
Then gamepass came through and it was really Xbox sucks, no point, I'll just get it on PC, which ironically is part of the overall goal anyway.
But now that Sony is offering games on PC
"Oh this is so smart"
" I can't wait to get this on PC"
If you don't have a problem waiting for a game then "just get it on pc" since it's clear sony is going the same direction as microsoft and being in alot of the threads it's clear sony players don't really be playing these amazing 1st party games at release like that anyway.
So yeah just wait and get it on pc, it'll be there eventually.
